About Us
The Food Biotechnology Communications Network (FBCN) is becoming Canada’s leading information source for balanced, science-based facts about food biotechnology and its impact on our food system. In fact, FBCN is the only national organization to bring together all the interests of food biotechnology, right from the farmer to the consumer. As a result, FBCN brings both neutrality and strong credibility to the information we provide.
Products / Services:
FBCN offers a range of services including information referrals, a regional network of experts, a website and issues management activities. Joint initiatives are also important. The highly successful “A Growing Appetite for Information” was prepared in coordination with the Consumers’ Association of Canada. Many groups, most recently the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors, have participated in educational and training programs.
