The Ontario Wheat Producers� Marketing Board (OWPMB) provides leadership to the wheat industry in Ontario through marketing, policy development, research and education.
About Us
Wheat is the third most important crop produced in Ontario, with a normal crop size of over 1 million tonnes. Established in 1958, the OWPMB is the single desk seller of all commercially marketed wheat produced in the province.
Markets Served
Ontario wheat serves three major markets: domestic processing, the processing market in nearby US states, and the off-shore market. Smaller markets include the feed market, and wheat grown for seed.
