Mission Statement:
The Ontario Corn Producers� Association (OCPA) seeks to promote and assist Ontario corn producers and their products through market development, research, communications, trade, farm financial programs and safety net programs.
About Us:
The OCPA, founded in 1983, is a non-profit association representing 21,000 Ontario corn producers. The association is funded by a refundable check-off on commercial grain corn sales. The OCPA works closely with a core team of federal, university and private researchers to develop integrated proposals, secure funding, and monitor progress.
Markets Served:
While Ontario livestock and poultry represent the largest domestic market for Ontario corn, the industrial use of corn has grown by about 40% since 1995/96, with this expansion expected to continue.
